Clearly your opinion is far greater than mine......however your opinion is simply that, just like mine is mine.

Have you noticed that no matter where you park your car (middle of an empty car park for example) you will return to find some twonk has parked next to you? I head for the furthest parking spot from the doors of the Supermarket and yes, there will soon be cars on either side of mine with loads of spaces available. I recently enquired politely of a lady who was struggling to get her car parallel with mine (even though she could have sailed into the many adjacent empty bays) as to why she chose that particular spot. The answer, which left me completely flumoxed, was she had been told to always park next to an expensive car as thieves will chose it rather than hers. Claims she had never been broken into and vandalised and all her friends did the same |

I hate it when people park taking two spaces up it's very ignorant and really attracts the wrong attention to the car when it's left unattended.....on the plus side if I'm in my works van and see someone parked like a |

Ha ha, there is a lot to be said about that, but I used to do it for the reason that if you park next to another nice/more expensive car , then you were less likely to get a door ding as the owner is more likely to care! I also think parking in two spaces is selfish, but don't get hung up about it, in multi storys I tend to park next to pillars, which allows me to park closely to them and give plenty space to open door. I have had door dings repaired twice that cost £800 due to being along a swage line and not been able to fix by dent devils! Nobody, but nobody parks next to a Defender that is covered with mud, so get your RRS covered with mud and then park in the middle of the car park and come back to find an empty slot on either side.................... people hate getting their clothes dirty as they squeeze out of their closely parked car! Whacking great rock/ tree sliders as steps on the sills also covered with bits of countryside helps too. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Exactly! ![]() I also try to park next to decent or new cars thinking the owner of that car will care about theirs enough to not hit mine. Never park next to a car with a dent etc as it could have just happened and they might think it was you! Always try to park next to newish or nice cars ![]() |

Or park like my Mrs - as close as possible to the shop entrance - regardless of the size of the space or who/what is next to her |
