Broken CD eject Button

Hi All,

Has anyone had any luck in the repair of the cd eject button in the past....if so how is this achieved????
There appears to be no resistance behind the button anymore and it just rocks back and forward with no action to eject the disks, currently have 4 buttons suffering the same fault but do not want to have to go and get a new unit which i have found costs £875 + VAT.

Any help gratefully received....
