any ideaon how to test the light levels, is there a diy way ?

pretty much what i was trying to avoid, will have to ask my step brother, he is a special on traffic, so will see if he can get hold on a device, just wondered if there was a scalecon a bit of paper or something less technical than a proper device.........

Why do you need to know? are your fronts tinted?

Normally any more than factory standard glass is past the legal limit.

As most glass is tinted anyway.

Wouldn't your MOT tester have a machine - or a place that installs the tint.
