Spare wheel size compared to size of wheels on car

I have a 2008 RRS HST with 20 inch wheels and tyres 275/40 R20 but I have noticed that the spare is a 19inch wheel with a 255/50 R19 on it and a max speed 50mph sticker on wheel. I am pretty new to all things Land Rover so sorry if this is a dumb question which has already been answered. I am assuming that the spare has effectively to be regarded in much the same way as a space saver emergency style wheel.

It is a "space saver" The problem with these on a car like the RRS is that you may have to fit it offroad and also you cannot have the normal size space saver without doing terminal damage to the transmission so basically what you have is not a space saver but an "emergency" tyre that is suitable for offroad and onroad use without damaging the transmission 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

And I would guess that the 50 sticker is just a legal requirement, is a standard RRS wheel with standard tyre. '08 RRS TDV8
I converted my diesel RRS to run on an environmentally friendly mixture of caribou fat and baby seals oil
