iPhone question for the techies.............

I have recorded a video on my iPhone (holding the phone portrait), when I put the video on my computer it is sideways!

Is there a way to rotate the file? I have googled it and there are a couple of apps but they only seem to be able to rotate them on your phone and when you transfer to computer the video is wrong again.........

Any ideas/solutions?

JF are you putting the video onto a mac or a pc?

When I have added video from my iPhone (taken in portrait mode) it transfers to my mac in portrait format.

If you are using a PC then the answer is simple....get a mac

I was looking for a cheaper solution.........

Anyway, now sorted, I just opened it in Quicktime instead and it self-righted

If using a PC try Windows Movie Maker, it can be rotated, i had same issue.
