2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

ARB Bushes

Has anyone ever had an explanation as to why we suffer from this knock?I cant believe the difference driving the car when it doesn't knock When I say explanation I actually mean what is knocking?I ask this because when I changed mine on Saturday the only thing that I could see that could possibly cause the metallic sounding knock would only need a very minor modification to stop it once and for all.Now I'm not saying i'm the cleverest bloke in the world but I am pretty good at problem solving,and was heavily involved in the D&D of the Discovery,MGF,Jag to name a few.As I said I have my suspision as to what it is,but would value a second opinion,because it just seems to simple to have not been resolved before now.

hi steve when you say knocking does it sound like the parcel shelf is knocking ? does it only happen when you go over bumps cheers

No it was a definate metallic sounding knock at low speed over small bumps/grids.
