Requested for a quote for my RRS from one of the dealers

I was asked the mileage 24.5k, MY10, general condition - fantastic/as new; and the condition of the alloys (all four have marks).

The quote:£ 36,500 Vadim A.

I don't see how I could sell it for anything below 40k. I paid 75k three years ago... Vadim A.

I suppose i just assumed HSE spec at 60k

MY10 is reasonably old 3-4yrs now, considering my MY13 is 8ish months old. Mike

Vadim - is that on a 5.0li S/C?

If so, then the "market" price of that kind of car, at that mileage (and I have been looking a lot lately), dependant on spec and condition, seems to be £38-£42k.

I wish that were the case in terms of negotiation flex - not so for several dealers given the paucity of genuinely good quality stock!
