Like Miracle Detail?

Once or twice I thought about it. My first weekend job when I was a teenager was washing 2 Ferrari's, a Range Rover and a Jaguar, I did that for about 7 years, same time every weekend to earn my petrol money for my little Series 3 Land Rover.

I hate to think of the number of cars I have washed in my lifetime.

Here's one of the nicer shots of my M5 when I had just done it over...

And here's my mum's XJS that was 12 years old when I did it over to sell it last year..

Black is the hardest colour to keep looking glossy, all those damned swirl marks, but here's what I managed on my BMW 528 .

I agree. Car still looks good for what is basically a 30 year old design.

Have you noticed that the 6cabrio has the 'Flying buttresses' design as per XJS? Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

If you follow the roofline back on an XJS, the back window drops verically to the boot but either side the roofline continues sloping towards the back of the car.

Look at a 6cabrio with the roof up. It does exactly the same. Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad
