I think we should organise some tests between TDV8 and 3.0 RRS and video the results. Does anyone own a race track? L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso
RRS TDV6 HSE Lux (MY2011)... Nara Bronze / Arabica - now gone!

Ok Phew here we go , used one of my Vbox units that i use for my motorsport, which are mega accurate via GPS and map to under 500mm. So after 90 mins this afternoon here are the results i have. ( all runs on flat road with no inclines or declines etc. Mean Temp was 16 Degree's and no head or tail wind that was noticeable.

My Discovery 4 SDV6 Commercial gave 8.72 secs 0-60 over 3 runs on the Vbox. ( In standard auto not sport ) still a tight engine with 1500 miles on the clock ( has normal Sainsbury Diesel in it )

My RRS 2010my TDv8 gave 8.11 secs 0-60 over 3 runs (interesting that in sport mode this only dropped to 8 Secs dead. Engine has 29,000 miles on it ( has V-Power Diesel In It ) . ( i know that my other 2008-9 TDV8 which was a fully mapped car gave 0-60 in 7.8 but a massive decrease in its 30-60 numbers which i will try and dig out. Loved that car to drive just tap the loud peddle and away you went.

Also decided while I was playing to do my 4.4

MY FFRR 2011.5 4.4 TDV8 ( which is still a tight engine with only 1600 Miles on the clock ) Gave me 0-60 in 7.12 secs over 3 runs in standard auto mode ( do not want to sport shift this one yet until it has done another few hundred miles ) I knew this car was quick you can feel it but did not think it would do 7 ish secs on a tight engine. ( has V-Power Diesel In It )

Non of my cars are currently mapped as i am waiting on the hope that the checksum / Pin obd port can be cracked rather than splitting the ecu's.

Will do a RRS 3.0 TDV6 I have with one of my guys / employee on Monday or Tuesday and post the numbers. 2014 5.0SC AB

Gone 5.0 SC
