I saw my dealer earlier this week who confirmed that my RRS was built and was ready to be shipped across the water from Portsmouth to Jersey.

I took a trip down to St Helier harbour this morning on the off chance that it might just be there waiting to be collected by the dealer.

I was right!! Sitting amongst a selection of new cars including two DB9 Volantes and a Porsche was MY Cairns blue/Alpaca RRS TDV6 SE.

I must say I am delighted with my choice of colour as it really looks nice and subtle compared with the Vesuvius demonstrator that I have seen on the road.

Mine will certainly be the first Cairns blue on the island and now I can't wait until Wednesday when I expect it to be ready for collection.

Collected her last Wednesday afternoon, then flew out to Milan to see the Grand Prix at Monza first thing the next morning.

I have only driven a few miles so far, but must say that I am very impressed.

Still waiting for mud flaps & interior mats which have not yet arrived and discovered that the driver's door indicator repeater is cracked and needing replacement.
