If I was just going to get rid of it to trade would it be more like £25k or so? Obviously I'd like to get as much as possible for it, but I'm not sure if I could be bothered with the hassle of trying to sell it privately.

Thankyou for that. Just gone through the process online now and they're offering £27465 which seems good. If I did go down the private route, how much should I realstically a) put it up for and b) find acceptable as a deal? Thanks for all the advice so far.

I would imagine that price would drop dramatically as soon as they find any fault or stone chip.....
