Red LED's for puddle lights

Thinking of changing the puddle lights to a pair of these

Just want something different to the standard white, and I'm sure my old Porsche had red ones...

If they worked well might look at using the same ones in the footwells too.. RRS gone

Pardon the ignorance - puddle lights? are they the ones on the inside of the front doors?

Just I was used to them under the wing mirror on my FL2

soon find out, I've ordered 2 pairs

I cannot see why not, the LED mod is a common one on here, it's just a different hue of LED surely

Yes the puddle lights in the underside of the front doors, there to illuminate the ground when you open the door... I've always called them puddle lights... Mr. Green RRS gone

Hi Npinks

I changed mine to blue LED - I blame Torchwood!!

I do prefer the RL2 as the light showed puddles as you unlocked the doors - you didnt have to open the doors as you do on the RRS, plus the RRS ones shine inwards not downwards. Now - MY11 RRS Autobiography TDV6, Orkney gray, tints, steps, daylight running lamps and allllll the toys!!!

i just changed my FL2 door and mirror lights to bright LED, looks loads better than the yellow glow of a normal bulb, especially against the white paint

Didn't realise the RRS didn't have them in the mirrors though Confused Must be that your butlers will lay their coats over the puddles, or your customers stand in the unseen puddles by the roads side when your doing Bizness Rolling with laughter
