Hi - Two months ago i had a new front screen fitted by autoglass. This weekend was the 1st time i needed to use the front screen heater and it never worked but the button light did come on - Is there anything that i can check before getting back in touch with autoglass. Would the button light still come on if a fuse had blown - Thanks Mark.

take it back to autoglass tell them of the problem and to check if the wires are connected properly, the A post trim should pull off and you can see the wires, + and - both sides.

This happened to a td5 I have 3 times!
As I don't drive it much I noticed the issue on a Sunday exactly 1 year after it was re-fitted (2nd screen). I phoned autoglass on the Monday and they stated the heated part of the screen was only guaranteed for 12 months and I was not covered as it was 1 day over!!!
They point blank refused to replace it until I really kicked up a fuss with their HQ

They eventually changed it (7months ago) and it's duff again. This time though it's streaking (not all screen is cleared)
