Yes, quick call to service dept shows it is 15k. It's also 12k for the Freelander as I thought... thanks chaps, I just turned the corner into 5 figures (10k) yesterday so it's further away than I thought!

It does vary from dealer to dealer due to the varying scum level of each but mine is £360 apparently. Not for budget-conscious, this servicing lark... a mate of mine who would have taken his to a central London dealership was quoted £480. He went elsewhere obviously...

shmoogle.. u discovered my secret! its not the car i dislike or anything.. its just handing more money over to a dealership pains me that much, that they never get a penny off of a me after the initial sales invoice is paid for.. everything else is on them for warranty work etc.. never ever pay for services if i can help it!! RS4 doesn't need a running in service like the M3 does, so looks like i'll get away with it there as well..

Can't remember the last time I ever had a car serviced???? The RRS will be well onto 18mths old before I'd hit 15000miles , so more likely than not I will have moved on again? Maybeeeee V8D RRS or back to Audi for .............. who knows ? poss S6 Avant or RS4 Avant or RS4 Cabriolet ........ or even a new RS6 Avant when it comes out. But to be honest I may well stick with what I've got and see myself booking in for a service after all HELP
