Independant Specialist in the Midlands?

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a good cheap independant LR specialist in the Midlands that has diagnostic kit. I have a friend with a FFRR out of warranty with an infotainment fault. The main stealer wants £110 to just plug in and diagnose!!
