Does anyone know what the "lazy entry" setting does?

I've done a search and had a rake though the hand book but with no luck.

On another note thanks to Bobby for his help (through his gallery)
I've just replaced the upper hatch switch(easy) and an inner near side front park senser(surprisingly easy about an hour for bumper on and off)

seat and door mirror positions linked to key fob..ie his and her fobs = different seat settings without having to select a memory number.

Also selects if you have reversing "dip" on the nearside door mirror" or not RRS gone

Ah I see.

Yeah I suppose that is pretty handy since I usually end up pressing the memory button instead of the 1 button on the side of the seat every time I get back in the car after my wife has done the school run.

Since LR have move the buttons up to the door I it would seem I'm not the only one

Hi on another piont how are you getting on with your remap?

Does it help with the off idle lazyness? that seems to effect the TDV8?

And does it help with the economy (mine never gets above 23 even on a run good fuel or supermarket)?

there is still a "pause" if you stop, then suddenly switch to power.... but I think that is more the auto box than the engine.... it's very brisk when it knows what you want to do

I followed a 60 plate TDV6 3.0 last night... and after 3 attempts to shake me (A roads) by blasting off at junctions... he gave up he prob thought I was a TDV6 and wanted to show how much quicker the new engine was... I just kept the gap at 20 yeards or so.... very easy..not even pushing it hard tbh..

MPG... sat on 22.2 mpg ... but my morning and evening commute is not mpg friendly at all.... every now and then I nip up to Worcs and it always clocks up a couple of points.

Overall very happy... running the 19" spare at the mo while I wait for a new 22" alloy (due in tomorrow) so the box is getting confused in D once past 3rd....so staying in sport-manual selection and it's amazing how happy it'll pull at 1k rpms in top (45mph ish) RRS gone

Thats the thing my normal is 19ish maybe the wife drives like a maniac when I'm not in the car!!!!

On the subject of the 22s thats a big difference over the standard 20s dose they cause you any grief in the handling department? Kiel

not at all.. never felt unsteady or the ride over-harsh.

Compared to my old D3 running 20" supercharger V Spokes it's positively nimble.

and 19 mpg! wow... your mrs must have a heavy foot or you'd benefit from some BG244 !

I'm running a K & N filter too... less restriction which may help mpg's... most of it is the increased torque from the map though.... there is minimal throttle pressure to waft along and any speed... very rarely I need to plant it...ok... maybe a few times just to remind me how well it goes

One thing these cars do need is a motorway gear... something that's 1500 rpms at 80mph... these big diesels would be quite happy rumbling on at that speed/rpms, and the mpg would lurch up 3 or 5 mpg no problem.. RRS gone

Yeah I hear what your saying but it might spoil that big hearted lunge you get at....ahem....motorway speeds.

Were heading up to Avimore tomorrow for a bit off skiing(well thats abit of a porky the girls and the kids will be skiing the chaps more than likely will be getting p d)so the old bus will get a bit of a run at least
