I am always amazed why companies pander to people like the Beckhams. My opinion is that Mrs B has about as much talent at design as I do in my little finger. Personally I think associating this new car with her is a big mistake but I'm not in marketing so what do I know? 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

I think it's a great idea that VB is linked to it......if you do an average age check on FFRR/RRS owners....I just think it will open up a whole new age group, and yes a lot of girls will aspire to these too as opposed to Audi TT's etc....look at the sale of RRS in the used market since they came down to below 30K....

You guys are so far off the mark, are we forgetting the Censored that designed the interior for the RRS 1st Gen? Its bloody awful!!

Hold off on an opinion until we see the interior........

New Range Rover Evoque

Guys - at the risk of breaching RRSPORT etiquette has anyone got any news on this new vehicle. Is it the same size as a freelander or smaller? If it's smaller is it significantly lower? There seems to be jack out there about it - I am planning on going to the Paris motor show but was wondering whether I might have to get in touch with CHPR to put my name down. (It's for the wife before you ask....)

Jonathan,

Yes details are quite sparce at the moment, but from what we can tell it is marginly shorter than a Freelander 2 but the roof line is a fair bit lower and rakes back in a coupe'esque angle.

We are taking token 'confirmation of interest' deposits to reserve positions in our order bank. The deposits are refundable should the vehicle not meet expectations once the specifications and final photographs are released, or indeed your circumstances change. The deposit becomes non refundable once a vehicle is 'spec'd up' and ordered with the factory which will be around this time next year by our estimations.

If you would like to reserve a slot then please PM me with your number and I'll give you a call. If you are quick then you could jump in to another forum members order position as they (and we'll call him Mr X) has moved his deposit from an Evoque to a RR TDV8. Whistle

I look forward to hearing from you.

James Thumbs Up
