Should all Range Rover Sports HSE model on a 57 plate but vin shows its a 08 model have the bluetooth phone capability in built in the headunit. Mine just says no phone fitted ??? howver the steering wheel has the voice activation and green and red phone buttons??

I cant pair it mate , when I press the white telephone button the headunit reads NO PHONE FITTED , whereas it would normally say no phone connected then i would get the option to pair it . I see you have a 2007 model does your headunit allow you to pair and do you have the controls on the steering wheel like mine.

Yes Ive tried that on my phone and usually as in my other vehicle it shows up as landrover then you have to enter a pin. This isnt showing on my phone. It seems to me that the headunit has been replaced , I have had the vehicle into landrover at chester due to a central locking fault. On inspection at landrover they found different speakers in the door panels , a crossover from a subwoofer hanging loose, just held up by wiring loom and it looks like whoever has installed these speakers etc have tapped into the central elecrtical unit. I also noticed on delivery that the clips around the interior door panels , the trim around the headunit and the door speakers where loose and some clips where broken. Thus im thinking that the headunit has at sometime in its life been replaced

Thus landrover have refused to fix the cental locking problem on warranty due to the previous encumbants botched attempt at installing ICE. I think they have removed the premium harman Kardon system and replaced with an other headunit, this is why i need someone who's in the know to advise me if this vehicle of this age should have the bluetooth capability in the headunit . If it should then it will confirm my suspicions and I can then speak with the company i purcahsed the vehicle from . It arrived last Thursday and the wife has driven it for one hour before the electrical problems started and its been in Landrover since. Now its sat on my drive unable to be locked or even opened on occasions and me in the middle of the Wife, Landrover and Saxton 4x4 from where it was purchased.

Any advise on this would be appreciated , especially as im about to travel 200miles to Essex and drive it over someones head at Saxton 4x4 and get my hard earned money back

James Edward couldnt tell me , however I did get a number from them for Landrover customer service, couldn't find it on the Internet. Then have confirmed my suspicions. Cheers Guys
