Cant believe i'm saying this but.... the rear brake drums on my 2008 RRS 3.6 HSE are turning brown with rust. They were originally painted grey but thats all but gone now, replaced by a sort of rusty coloured RUST!!!
Anyone had the same problem? Is it a warranty issue? Need help before i tackle LR with the issue. Thanks [/b]

Brake drums.........................do you mean the hubs, think this is just the norm, MY10 the same

Dont think your get much luck with warranty, but you can try  MY10 3.0 HSE Santorini Black, Ivory Premium & extended leather, privacy, paddles, diamond turned alloys, Ipod lead that charges, tasmods, rrsport.co.uk stickers

Just wrote a snotty letter to LR uk customer service about this and a few other faults as well as the fact that i haven't had a handbreak for 3 months waiting apparently for the switch to come in to the dealer. I think. Anyway, we shall see what response if any I get.

Any tips on what to do with the rusty hubs and what to use???

Cant help but think if this happened on a merc or a bm, germans would take to the steets and demand the chairmans head. Why do we put up with like this.

Mine have gone rusty too on my MY10. I'll be asking LR to sort it at at the first service.
