electric mirrors

hi all have got a problem with the folding mirrors they dont fold anymore lol but they still adjust does that rule out the motor and has anyone else come across this problem if so what did they do to fix it thanks

Yup, the boy has a point. If you have used the spare key to lock it cocks everything up! Lock the car with the spare, then unlock with your usual key all should be fine. Everybody is clinging on to their sanity….Some just hide it better than others….

I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago.

There are separate fuses for folding and adjusting. Check the manual for the fuse location behind the glovebox (red 5amp from memory) and then check that out. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

have looked for this cant seam to find it any ideas of the fuse numbers thanks Big Cry

Its red 10amp - not 5amp as i thought.

Best of luck. If it keeps blowing - like mine does - then there is a short in one of the powerfold motors and you need a whole new mirror.

hi bradders have checked this fuse 16 its ok so probably the mirror motor or maybe the switch just need away of testing them as i dont want to buy both Big Cry
