Decision made -thanks to all and James

Everyone

Thanks for all the help on dealers, tow bars, colour combinations etc. I've just ordered a 3.0 HSE in Santorini Black and ebony interior for delivery 1 March 2010 from Lookers Park Royal. James was incredibly helpful, honest and offered an excellent price - I fully recommend this dealership (much more knowledgable than the BMW dealers I have dealt with in the past) and have full confidence that the car will be delivered on schedule !

I also just ordered a 3.0 TD6 HSE Santorini Black and ebony interior for delivery 1 March 2010. I was looked after by Matt at Lookers and can only be very complimentary about the service I received. Roll on 1st March Very Happy

Yep, It really does just lift the interior, especially whith the dark tones Thumbs Up

On the test drive it felt beautiful for sure. The only thing I was unsure about was whether to go for V6 or V8...but test drive confirmed V6 was fine.

I saw some ebony seats without contrast stictching and felt that even the normal stictching had a degree of contrast. I didn't mind either way so decided not to have it added.

Phil, the ebony premium leather comes with lunar stitching which is dark grey, therefore you are right in saying that there is still a slight contrast, although not quite as dramatic as the ivory.
