Time to go boys and girls (not that my contribution was great)

Sad to say (no.......... very happy to say) the RRS HSE TDV6 at 15 months old was p/x today for a brand spanking new FFRR Vogue TDV8. Just had enough of bad suspension knocking (had mass damper mods 3 weeks ago and still it bangs and rattles like a skip lorry). Next step was to remove engine and re-build entire roll bar system which they were proposing in 2 weeks time. That and 2 new drivers seats and god knows how many electronic modules and widgets over the last 14k miles.

Test drove FFRR TDV8 and it is a dream - smooth and very commanding. Been very ill lately and now fully on the mend (was close to checking out for good from this planet in November last year aged 45) and so swapped to the Vogue to do some majestic touring this summer and get life back into perspective.

Had some great advice from James down at Lookers over the last 24 hours although in the end the local dealership came up with a good deal (saved driving 120 miles for a coffee). Thanks James

Just hoping the FFRR behaves like a gent and not a thug It arrives this Saturday with no waiting.

RRS HSE TDV6 gone after 15 months since new - will not be missed I'm afraid - bit of a gremlin in there somewhere - too many issues. Replaced with FFRR Vogue TDV8 - very nice - not as sporty (of course) but absolute luxury.

Oh dear oh dear oh dear

From the first note I wrote on this subject (get rid of bad RRS and buy BRAND new FFRR TDV8 Vogue) to this.................. not had chance to join FFRR forum web site yet (sorry Martin) but it is 8 days old and broken down and had to be recovered 3 times.

It is Sunday morning and I am sat waiting for Land Rover Assist (read some dude from the AA as 4 days ago).

Battery is flat again. Needs jump starting. In 8 days we have had the car only 5 of them and it will be going back tomorrow.

Been in the dealers for 3 days this week having new firmware and software............. supposedley.

Drove 200 miles yesterday not a problem............ got up this morning and the battery is flat...... the vehicle has failed to go night night sleepies again and we are suffering the dreaded battery loss symptoms.

I just wonder what my rights are here It is on a lease package and someone at Lloyds TSB is going get toasted tomorrow (goods fit for purpose etc)........... as well as the dealer
