     | French courts have overturned Briatore's life ban from formula 1 as they say the FIA don't have the power to ban him!
So who does? He's now free to return to the sport but will anyone be willing to hire him after the cheating allegations?

Or is this no worse than team orders when a driver blatently let's a team mate pass?

   | From what I understand, the FIA can only ban people who are affiliated with the FIA. That includes drivers etc but strangely DOESN'T include team bosses.
What the French court have ruled is that as this is the law, the FIA cannot ban him.

What the court did NOT rule, was that he is innocent of what he is accused of doing, just that the FIA were not in a position to ban him from the sport.

His solicitor was on BBC news yesterday saying that he could now start to attempt to clear his name... Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award
