My turbo recently failed and I was told to try Bellauto's as they had shop soiled units. Has anyone bought a unit from them?

Just wanted to get some feed back on the units before i bought one.

There used to be a place in Dyce that reconned turbos, fuel injectors etc! Have used them before! I'll see if I can dig up their number if you want? Current, M135i in Estoril Blue with more extras than the cast of Ben Hur.

That would be great, only problem is i'll have to wait till i get home from offshore to remove the turbo, then i'll have to wait to get in reconditioned.

I'm struggling for time, hence the reason for buying a complete unit.

No it wasn't. Can't remember the guys name! I've got the name and number in an address book somewhere but I'm not at home just now to have a rake for it!

Assuming you are not using the local LR Dealer why not give Greenbank 4x4 in Altens a call to see what they can do? - have found them excellent and capable of teaching main dealers a thing or two

I used to work at Town and county Aberdeen myself a good few years ago so i know my way around a RR, even though i was a subaru mechanic, but was often working on LR's when busy.

Ive been emailing a guy called Pete who said he is selling on behalf of Ian of Bellauto's.

I was really just interested in feedback before i bought the turbo unit, just for peace of mind.
