Non LR side steps

Anyone bought these, not original equipment, but must admit they are very similar in appearance

i'm looking for a side-step for my queen....
they have a very good price and the rubber on top it's similar like genuine.
but the prices for the genuines are very goof if you look around.....

Those steps on ebay look like original ones to me, if the advertiser is being correct and honest he states the manufacturer as Land Rover.

The price is too close to Dealer prices to be worth taking the risk though, IIRC the LR supplied price is around £325 + VAT

They do work out about £125 cheaper but suppose it isnt worth taking a chance

Just brought some to from my local dealer £450 to replace the old damaged ones on the car only the passenger side was scuffed but enough to iritate me. Censored

Why do you need a side step? Does it look better or do you mount a lot of things on the roof?

Personally it is just the looks of them, I very rarely step on them, useful for loading the old gran in.
