hey Jimmy salsa,

did you ever resolve your desire for frontal protection. If you are still interested I have for sale a LR (D3) bash plate in ht 10mm alum. This plate has done good service in two tdv8's (after modification to chanel air into the cooler in front of the rh front wheel) and is a good fit on my07/08 RRS. I found it particularly helpful as a skid plate at Cape Melville last year, particularly when exiting creeks etc. I had it briefly installed on my D4 but this has now been replaced with an ARB BB and winch. Incidently, I am in the process of modifying the bbar to a sahara type as ARB do not yet produce this type and I can't wait any longer.....and it looks much better. There is even a chance that this might fit the RRS with some additional mods.

Hi Raadar,

Haven't some up with a solution as yet but have a friend at Opposite Lock who has started the ball rolling with their development team.

They are doing some feasibility on modifying their D3/4 front bar and compliance costs and are going to get back to me in a couple of months.

Here's hoping.
