Another glitch - PTI

Another glitch has appeared - oh dear!

Had an incoming call on bluetooth and I couldn't answer it using the steering wheel controls so answered it using the phone and had to talk using the phone.

When I hung up, the callers number was still on the display with the flashing phone symbol next to it.

Now it is stuck there permanently and will not move no matter what I press.

Cannot use stereo either.

Have tried switching off, locking, unlocking.... nothing.

Any ideas? Ta Thumbs Up Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

Have you tried disconnecting the Bluetooth link from the phone, or turning off the phone completely? The connection should release and you should be able to get your radio back...

I had this once but must admit it cleared when I turned the engine off... Confused Otherwise, as Umberto says, try unpairing it. If it's not paired, the car CAN'T get stuck on the phone.

There is another issue that i am currently suffering.

My phone will pair at first with the bluetooth LAND ROVER, but once i leave the vehicle every time i get in it asks to pair up again manually.
btw I have checked teh following:

1)Phone Settings
2) Phone Software
3)Reset the Phone
4) Tried 4 other Mobiles (including nokia, samsung, LG and motorola)
5) My phone was working perfectly fine and this happened all of a sudden

Is there a way of manually reseting the bluetooth??

I have PM Bobby who is looking into this and apparently he has the same problem.

Once paired the Bluetooth works fine.. Confused

Its just not automatically pairing! Big Cry Big Cry

As yours is 2007 - there was a PTI firmware upgrade that came out after then, which may (or may not) fix the problem?

I think it might be something to with the specific model of phone or the version of bluetooth on the phone itself. My phone will pair automatically everytime i get in the car but when ever my friend has my car her phone will always ask for manual connection (even though the settings in the phone are set to automatically allow connection from authorised device) - if she uses a different phone then there isn't an issue at all. She has the same problem in my sport, her sport and her BMW so it would indicate it is a phone issue rather than a vehicle specific issue.

Will be intresting to see what the dealer says - i would predict some head scratching Laughing

Out of interest what model phone is it? 2005 TDV6 HSE Zermatt Silver Ebony Interior Sunroof, RSE, Side Steps
