The SC grill is the grill fitted to the Supercharged RRS as standard. This will have the black Land Rover Badge. The TDV8 RRS’s had a similar grill fitted, but with the green LR badge.

The colour coding, is as you say, the edges painted to match the colour of the vehicle. This is something the owners do or get done themselves, rather than being supplied by Land Rover.

Here’s a colour coded SC grill on my RRS…..

…..& here’s the HST grill, which I also colour coded……

The colour coded HST grill......... I dont know what way I feel about it, I dont know if I dot like it or if I love it... It can't be that hard on diesel???

2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Java Black

I have the S/C grill with the edges colour coded in Java, small change but does look different from the standard S/C grill as it ties the bonnet into the bumper via the grill.

Quite like the HST grill colour coded in Java.

Looks quite, 'Hard'

Like it's had it's teeth knocked out.
