On R4 this evening is a very interesting programme about WD40 and how it started out as a water dispersant for the space industry.......................... the most successful recipe was No40, hence the name Water Dispersant 40!

Best use I had for it, other than water dispersing, was spraying everything under the bonnet on my first cars. Rocker cover, distributor cap, HT leads, air filter, radiator, anything under there.
