Hi,

Yesterday I had a selection of replacement interior trims fitted and they have transformed the interior of my 2005 RRS Supercharged. I was really pleased until I found that following the replacement of the trim that surrounds the Sat Nav screen its not working properly. The two buttons in the trim work fine, there is clearly power to the Sat Nav screen but the touch screen is simply not working at all.
before I take it back to have it removed does anyone know what might be wrong....Are there two cables to the screen, one for power and another for information. Or is there something that needs to be done to reset it. I think that if there is more than one connection at the back of the screen and one may well have been left off or not connected properly. I have tried all I can think of and it looks like its going to be another strip down.

Any help would be appreciated. One other thing it was working perfectly before

Sounds like something has come loose somewhere.... the important thing is that is was working before, now isn't! Get it back to the dealer

Out of interest... what trim did you have replaced, and who did it?

I have replaced the door cards with piano black.Door handles with silver.The 4 air vents,sat nav surround in black and the hockey sticks with silver. |I am very pleased with the overall look now of the interior. In truth anyone can fit them once they know how. They dont come with instructions and I dont actually know anyone who fits them. I worked with a guy at a local body shop, unfortunately it does involve removal of the entire dash and I reckon he has not connected my sat nav up properly so that means a major job again. The parts came from Powerful Uk, Ebay and the local dealer.
