A Speed pulse is a signal sent from your car components,commonly the ABS or gearbox, to your clocks for speed display and engine/abs management. All decent navigation units require this information, in addition to GPS positioning and gyroscopic information to correctly position the vehicle. |

My guess is that it's the info that the sat nav gets from the speed and angle of the front tyres.

This might be related to the ABS Module and the wires that go into the Navigation System Module...
