Jason, were they running standard Pirrelli Scorpions on their RRS ? Just interested as the ground conditions in Dunkeld are pretty darn slippery around those big beech trees and any excess slipping could result in car / tree contact (which isn't ideal for either of them !). As Tim has just found out, Pirelli's aren't at all great where there is a thin layer of mud on a firm surface or tree roots for that matter. |

Hi Smarticus. The instructor said they only changed from road tyres to off road tyres last week. Sorry but I didn't notice the make, however they worked very well. Also saw the 4.4 S/C they have and the G4 Discovey3. Rimini Red HSE (D).Gone but not forgotten!

Thanks Jason. Must admit I think LR Experience should only use vehicles with standard tyres. The danger of using off-road tyres is that drivers get a false sense of what their own vehicle is capable of and when they "try this at home" on road tyres they get horribly stuck, or worse.... |

I should think so too. I believe that they still give them out to potential buyers! disgrace 2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

It can, and a lot of people have to call LR to ask where it is like I did, even then it still took them another month to post me the voucher. Shocking. L319 D4 HSE

I have been told by people from LR that the 4.4 SC car that everyone reckons is at Dunkeld is a falacy and is not a SC car, just a 4.4.

My voucher arrived a couple of days ago, but I haven't booked a date or venue yet.
