Side Vents?

Hey all,

I'm looking for a little advice on some side vents. I need to create some contrast on the sides of the car and found an item on ebay which i would welcome an opinion on. I can't link it as the url is too big but its item number eBay Item No. 320351198769. All chrome from what I can tell and the price looks good.

Does anyone have anything similar or some pictures of what this could look like?. I have plain grey on at the moment and its just a really low impact look. I have thought about sticking some java black vents on my Stornaway but I am not sure how it would look.

Advice and/or pics of decent options are welcome? WINNER - 2009 Best Newcomer Award

Germany 2009 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Santorini Black

I dont like chrome on the car.. i also think that the mirrorcover and grills in chrom looks terrible! Confused
ok, i have the kahn parts on the car.. but i think they looks good in the colour from the car.

perhaps you can buy the vents from hamann. 1600 euro in carbon Smile
or from asanti (ebay usa) also for more hundred dollars.

If i would have money i would buy them from hamann. or would let make one by my jewellery from pure gold Smile

I think, the HST parts from LR looks also good, but just in car colour. not in chrom.. (chrom or chrome? the germans say chrom) RRS TDV8 Modelyear 2009 with some modifications.

Well grey on grey looks Censored . Alternative suggestions appreciated.

THe only Hamann on ebay are the carbonfibre looking ones which are, erm, grey, so no real visual difference.

I just wanna break up the colour on the sides with a bit of contrast. WINNER - 2009 Best Newcomer Award

Just get a pair of LR SC type with the chrome horizontal bars and mesh behind. Imho Look good with Stornoway grey. And they don't need colour coding. These are mine.

Thanks Josh. I like the look of those so will keep my eye's open for a pair on ebay.

Out of interest do you know what % tint you have on those rear windows? I am toying with a 5% or 20% as Pentagon don't do an in between but can't decide whether the full limo black will look any good. yours looks about right to me. WINNER - 2009 Best Newcomer Award

Sorry no idea of %. Whatever the factory supply. But think they are known as Midnight tints.

I would have thought Pentagon would have known. TDV6 - gone

Thanks Bud. Pentagon do a "midnight" tint but yours looks darker than that. Ah well I will see when I go in I guess. WINNER - 2009 Best Newcomer Award

Wozz - i looked into this a fair bit IMO Limo looks Censored - midnight is closest to factory - my last RRS had smoke A - A. Law is light smoke only A-B then whatever you want B-B. I personally think light smoke A-B smoke B-B isn't dark enough for the drivers/ passengers. Smoke A-A looked well on my last one (and not too dark to be obviously tinted resulting in being pulled), Smoke A-A, midnight B-B would be the next best thing.

Personally I don't like the factory fit contrast from 'clear' A-B and midnight B-B
