2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Flight there are big steel counterweights slung under the RRS and Disco3 that act as harmonic dampers. If you get down on your hands and knees and have a look underneath the rear of the car you will see them. They are part of the kit that makes RRS and Disco3 so heavy. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Tim spot on...they do have some play in them, hence why sometimes they knock against the tips....but the cushion pads stuck to the weights and tips, get rid of any vibration when at idle - otherwise it becomes very irritating very quickly! Thumbs Up

TDv8's purr, they don't vibrate Mr. Green ................................... but if I hear a strange rattle after fitting the tailpipes I'll know the cure Nick 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Rimini Red

Had 'em on mine for over a year now. Work just fine and if anything look better with age. LR should fit something like these as standard as IMHO it is such an easy way to improve the vehicle's looks.

These look ideal in that it isn't necessary to start butchering the standard down facing tail pipes with a hack saw, however, can anyone advise what they look like from the rear? Is it still possible to see the standard downpipes through the exhaust tip aperture?

I've just fitted y set of tail pipes and find............................................

the OEM tail pipes are a) different lengths b) they are at slightly different angles grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr it took ages to get them looking right and I'm still not happy that they are straight/parallel and in the same line! To me the nearside one looks out of line but I cannot get it to go onto the old tail pipe any further or rotate any more. Even adjusting the offside one to match it just made both look odd!
I also bust the Allen key doing the job so had to christen my new LR branded toolset. Now to find some of that padding stuff in case of rattles from the weights.
