when i start my car up on a cold morning, the engine turns over, but then seems to be starved of fuel, and cuts out! i have to rev the engine to keep it running! it idles for about two seconds then sounds like its out of fuel!
this is only on a cold startup, and seems to be when it hasnt been driven for at least 12 hours! i presume its a fuel pump problem? possibly fuel pressure?

i have an 06 RRS supercharged!

Last winter, when I started first thing, the engine would struggle to start, usually after a cold night. Then HDC failures. It would work fine after a wee drive probably after the alternator had generated power and topped up the battery.

To sort it, I got a new battery and never had the problem again. 2022 P440e AB

i had my battery replaced about 18 months ago by RR under warantee, in theory, is it still covered then? as it is not 3 years old!

or am i pushing my luck?  RR Sport supercharged 06

check out the RED TOP Optima Batteries... having similar issues with my S/C but this might be because I keep around with the power for audio/entertainment purposes.

Looking at the RED TOP for the main battery, and then the YELLOW TOP for the auxiliary equipment... RRS First Edition S/C, Vesuvius Orange, Rear Entertainment, Alpine TUE-T200DV, Stormer Alloys. (+ 19" MTR's for playing in the snow!)

funny thing: yesterday i helped a friend of mine out - he has an 2 year old FFRR SC and had batteries problems too - i was nice i picked him up and brought him home...

He is so upset about the batteries discharging problem all the time that he ordered an BMW X6

To entice, I placed a puppy in the boot of the Range and left the split screen open, over she walks takes the puppy from the boot and stares lovingly at my full leather interior, the one you have come to expect from the BIG DADDY.............she reaches to close the tailgate and walks round to the passenger side where she jumps into the lair and continues to lovingly look at my leather clad instrument panel. Introductions are brief, the puppy is placed on the back seat, again clad in the finest hide known to the human race, she then continues to touch and feel until she finally reaches over and grabs my gearchange. She comments that she has never handled such a huge stick and asks if I mind if she rubs it some more, I agree (naturally) as she uses both hands to move it from Park to Drive.....she seems excited by this and continues to thrust the stick in alternating directions getting more breathless as she does so....................

where as i, get a bird, who cant work out, that the central grab above the numberplate, only opens the glass of the rear tailgate, so after standing for 20 minutes trying to workout how to fully open it, she then tries to force her pet rotwiler through the open rear screen,

on waddling around to the passenger door, via the drivers side (as she thinks its a shortcut) notices the Chrome strut Grill and comments "NA BRUV, U GOT A MIRRA ON YA RIDE" and proceeds to put her cheap lipgloss on that looks more like glue!
on sittin her lardy council estate ass on my second quality Hide (its the upgraded supercharger leather tho ) i ask her where she would like to dine tonight, and she comments, Lets Get a kebab after the pub doll face!

Yup...
its definatly time to ungrade to a FFRR, and take up the same pass time that will enjoys, that includes oil and peasents!
