Front windscreen pilar upright air bag covers

Cleaning the interior this morning I realised how micky mouse these are in the RRS, compared to my BMW.
They seem flimsy and loose as does the roof lining where it meets the windscreen. Is this as it should be or do I have a problem?

Nothing wrong with your inner A post trims or headlining John. They are designed like this to allow the airbags to deploy properly. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.
