mate got caught there a few months ago when they kicked off, he said it was one of the most friendly protests he had seen, everyone was courteous and he ended up stuck in Phucket for an extra 2 nights

I was there last month when it all kicked off, you would not know it was going on unless you went looking for it, Both airports are still closed but if they are not open by tomorrow they are going to use the military airfield.
