Fitting Roof Rack

Can't find any topic regarding the ease of fitment of a roof rack. Can this be done by myself or needs it to be fitted by a RR dealer?

If it's the expedition rack then it's very easy. You will need the roof rails and the fitting kit, also if your running strips on the roof don't have pre-drilled holes in them you will need to get a drill out or buy new strips. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

Here is one i had on my 90.

The RRS version will be lower to the roof and possibily have 4 rounded corners instead of just the front ones.
The legs will hopefully use the roof rails that LR sell/fit so wil look neater than the Defender version.

It will probabaly have the options like all there other racks to have side rails as an extra.

im unsure yet, the defender starts from about 850, and i think the D3 from about 1k.

As soon as i know more ill post some pics and info.
