Germany 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Bonatti Grey
Can you call an RRS "SUV"?

Hi,

I will have a few days vacation soon and I'd like to choose and buy a used RRS during that days. So to prepare for it I have already been searching for number plates (you can reserve them online for free in Germany now - so I have reserved quite a lot of them Cool ).
And since I live in Stuttgart my number plate will start with an "S".

License plate "SUV 1111" is available (so are various others, for example the 1111 with the first letter of the first name of Mrs Mc Bunny and me or other interesting stuff). Unfortunately there is no good number plate with RR available at the moment and LR looks somehow wrong since it would be "SLR" on a 4x4. Big Cry

Somehow I really like the idea of having SUV 1111 but on the other hand I don't know if calling it an SUV isn't a bit like calling it a truck? Question

So guys, what do you think? Can I call it an SUV or will all the Land Rover owners hate me for calling a Land Rover "SUV"?!

Thanks.

PS: I know, this question is not really the most important question one can ask but since I am at work an I am bored I have a lot of time to think of such things and they seem very important right now... Wink Laughing

@steve:
What does SPT stand for?! Question
Supertrotter? Shocked
Or are that your initials? I currently have my initials with 1111 on zhe audi. Cool

But It's really funny how many numbers with 5555 are available in Daimler-City, I thought every AMG-Owner would go for a 5555-number (due to the 55er models) but it seams they all prefer showing the world how old they are (even the 60-year-olds have their birthyear meanwhile, I've really seen a car with S-?? 1947). Even SLR 5555 was still available! (now it's reserved for me, anybody wants to buy it? Twisted Evil )

Funny that all combinations with an H and no matter how many 8s are already taken! Mal y est qui mal y pense... Whistle Laughing
