2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Java Black

Whats wrong with an A3 Turbo?

OK, I know that Angel had an A3 which seems to be the subject of great mirth. However, I am looking for a car for the wife and she wants an Audi. They are expensive (as is anything European) here.

So, what's wrong with a 2.0 Turbo Audi A3 5 door Sportback if I buy her one? What about an A3 TDI?

Alternative is an A4 1.8 Turbo or maybe an A4 TDI she likes A3 and A4

Will I have lost all my street cred with you guys and never be able to show my face again if I buy either of these? Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

a friend has s3 sportback and is with love with his car. But I guess your wife does't need S engine. I would suggest A4 rather than A3 (price difference is not big, but expecially a woman will appreciate the comfort difference). I personally like the car and love front led lights. engine for me best engine and most reasonable is 3.0 tdi. and of course S-line

2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Bonatti Grey

If you do want an Audi turbo, go for the new TT 2.0 TFSI.
This engine is brilliant, it can be chipped up to 340 bhp and more than 600 NM torque and it is now available as quattro which makes this kind of power in that small and light car very driveable.

edit: Of course you can also have the S3 and tune that one up to the 340 bhp. But then it is an A3 which still is only an A3... RRS TDV6 HSE, 2006, bonatti grey, ebony interior, rear diff, s/c grille and vents, stormers, privacy, tasmods, iphone integration

BKHK, the A5 looks nice, seen a couple pass me on the M2 in the mornings on the way to work... the led's in front of the headlights look very chav/boogan? though Another Pommie Bar Steward down under
