After comprehensively trashing a 20" Conti at the weekend I need to replace that tyre. As the other 3 in the set are all about 75% worn (but 25% life left) I don't really want to buy a new tyre. Does anyone want to sell a well used but still legal 20" Conti to allow me to restore my set of summer tyres ? RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini

Thanks Mart, there is about 3 - 4 mm on the summer set. Although, as is common with Conti's, the edges look and feel far more worn out than the centres. I figure the tyres I have are good for about another 5,000 miles max so anything you had which might manage the same would definitely be on my shopping list. And again you are right - I have no rush to replace this tyre as the vehicle will be wearing its Pirelli's now until the spring. RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini

.. and I am tempted to say all of the above could be described as "Black Holes" - albeit for different reasons RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini
