I was sitting in the business lounge in Lisbon airport when a bunch of Australian tourists came in. they had obviously all just purchased new mobile phones and decided it would be funny to see who had the best ring-tone. As this was getting a little bit annoying I decided to go grab myself a cup of tea from the small café outside and wait until the tourist moved on.

I exited the lounge and went to the café where I ordered a cup of tea and a four fingered kit-kat biscuit. There was only one table available in the whole place so I sat myself down, and started to read the paper that I had
picked up from the lounge. After about 5 minutes, I heard a polite woman's voice asking me if the seat opposite me was free, I smiled to her and told her it was.

I then opened my kit-kat and broke off a finger and continued to read my paper when out of the side of my eye, I seen the woman's hand slide the kit-kat across the table, break off a finger and proceed to munch away. At this point I shifted in my seat and rustled the paper a little to show my displeasure. After a few minutes I slid the kit-kat back across the table and broke off the second last finger. she responded with a "humph" sound. At that point she decides to slide the kit-kat back across the table and finish the last remaining finger off.

I immediately got out of my seat and headed back to the safety of the lounge. Thinking to myself that I seem to attract all these oddballs.

About 1 hour later my flight was called, and I headed onto the plane. I threw my computer bag into the overhead locker and started to put all my keys, passport, coins etc, etc, into a little nylon sack that I carry for this purpose, it just means I have easy access to all this junk and it all in the one place. I also travel in a pair of cargo pants; you know the type with the big side pockets? Anyway, reaching into the side pocket of these
pants, my hand hit upon something....... and my heart missed a beat. Yes. did you guess?

It was in fact, the kit-kat..



I had in fact been eating the poor woman's kit-kat, and I was thinking she was the outpatient, and for sure she was thinking I was an outpatient.

Quite an entertaining story...could be the prologue to a Sherlock Holmes mystery! PJPR
