OK, i've drawn up a shortlist for categories with a brief explanation for each.

There was an element of cross-over with some of the suggestions so i've tried to cover all bases and of course avoid duplication.

As this is the innaugral (?) awards, all awards are called 2008 xxxx. However, unless it is specifically stipulated then it doesn't necessarily have to have occured in 2008.

The 2009 awards will then be specific to that year only.

– Who is the biggest RRS egg-head on the forum? Who always seems to have the answers at their fingertips?

2008 Comedian of the Year Award
– Quite simply, who makes you laugh the most?

2008 Best in Class Range Rover Sport Award
– There aren’t many bog standard Sports out there so who has the best blinged up RRS?

2008 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award
– We all know just how capable these fine vehicles are off road, but who has the cahoonas to put it to the test? In a nutshell, who in your opinion was ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’?

2008 Worst in Class Range Rover Sport Award
– If the above was pretty much self-explanatory then so is this. Which is the biggest dogs dinner? Whose RRS is the proverbial turd in the punchbowl?

2008 Best thread Award
– Again, pretty much self-explanatory. Which thread do you think is the beat of the best? Which one gave you most enjoyment? Which thread do you like to resurrect or see resurrected?

2008 Best Avatar
– Who has the best avatar? You decide…

2008 Idler of the Year
– Quite simply, who needs to get a life? Who do you think needs their PC umbilical cord cutting, needs to get out and see there is a real world out there?

2008 Forum Sponsor of the Year
– Which of our wonderful site sponsors do you think has not only supplied you the best deal/service/support/ideas/modifications or accessories but also contributed to the forum?

2008 Best All New Photograph
– Which photo, posted as all new in 2008 do you think warrants this ‘Picture perfect’ title?

2008 Land Rover Dealer Of The Year
– This category covers all aspects of LR ownership from the buying process through dealing with warranty issues to regular servicing.

2008’s Funniest Incident
– What have you seen reported on the forum that has made you laugh at someone else’s fortune, or indeed misfortune?

2008 Golden Raspberry Award
– Who, in your opinion has committed the biggest boo-boo, blunder, mishap or downright idiocy? (All meant in the nicest possible way, of course…)
