got parking ticket today . over time by 6mins..... however.... noticed that colour of car was recorded as black, and it is blue (buckingham blue, very dark in some light but it was washed today and very sunny! ) on good authority that this invalidates the ticket as incorrect info....... but colour bit close, any advice? or just pay the £25

If the "good authority" is to be trusted then check what it says the colour is on your V5 and contest it, but is it worth it for £25?
The traffic warden must have been sitting waiting with an alarm clock to get you with just 6 minutes over time! just another perspective - today I attempted to go swimming in Bridgnorth, however all (and I mean all) of the car parks were full (Baths parking and town parking)- the traffic warden was putting tickets on cars as I was driving around trying to park. Ended up getting into the pool 25 mins into the 1 hour session

Normally I'd say 6 mins is harsh however today I was cursing those people - cost me £4 for 30 mins swim

My local council has just had to suspend charging for on-street parking for some legal reason. Anyone who has proof of payment for parking or received a parking ticket can claim a refund.  2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

My last car was black and I received a parking ticket that said "Colour: Other"

I didnt understand this, a friend of mine reckoned they couldnt say Black anymore as it wasn't politically correct.......I think he must have been winding me up but I sort of believed him in this PC gone mad country

i created a fake invoice from a "breakdown company"

if my meter runs out, i say that i came back to the car and it didnt start,
