Plug & Play ECU Modules

Hi Guys

We have a new range of plug and play ECU upgrade modules available for virtually any diesel engine including the TDV8, TD6 and TDV6. We have 2 modules available, the first is a single map unit that has one map that increase power, torque and mpg. The second is an adaptive unit that alters the map depending on driver input so will run more economically when you are cruising and gives you maximum power and torque when you plant your right foot.

The standard unit is usually £400 inc VAT, but for RRS users we are offering these at £350 inc VAT. The adaptive unit is usually £450 inc VAT but we are offering it at £400 inc VAT. Shipping in £10 per unit.
These units are very simple to install and can be removed before you take your car in to the main stealers, so you will not have any warranty issues.

The standard unit comes with a 3 year warranty and the adaptive unit a 5 year warranty, both units come with a 12 month engine warranty.

These units can be moved from car to car, so if you sell your current car just post the unit back to us and for £59 inc VAT we will re-programme the unit to your new car and post it back. If we need to replace any leads on the unit to suit your new car the price is £79 inc VAT.

If anyone is interested in this offer please PM me.

TDV8
272bhp – 327bhp
640Nm – 785Nm

TD6
177bhp - 214bhp
390Nm - 460Nm

TDV6
190bhp - 235bhp
440Nm - 510Nm

Increase in MPG is usually around 10%. www.designerwheels.co.uk

That was a TD5 - the TD6 is the BMW unit that used to be in the FFRR.

john, can you give an idiots guide to how these work/differ from a remap (which I guess is like an EPROM rewrite)?

Are they like a "memory stick" which the ECU reads everytime you turn the key, or some kind of bypass for the stored info.

I am interested and trying to understand what I would get for my cash

how do they physically connect, etc, etc Stornaway Grey/Ebony TDV8 HST, September 3rd Smile

But how many miles has the new one done? Don't forget the gearbox has to adapt to the driving style so maybe it hasn't learned F1 take-offs yet................................. The demo was probably well used and had had the gearbox well educated up to change in a spirited fashion! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
