I just came back from my trip to Austria Tyrol and I could not believe it. I thought that only Tim in Scotland could achieve that . My fuel consumption was 8,5L/100km (more than 33 MPG). I did 970km (602 miles) with one tank half local roads and half highway. I never thought that it was possible TDV8 is really amazing  2008 RRS TDV8 HSE, Java black, Alpaca,.....

Tim in Scotland often posts similar figures for fuel consumption in his TDV8. What sort of speeds were you travelling at Markos? Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

Speeds were on local roads between 50-80 km/h (30-50 mph) and on highways 100-140km/h (60-86mph). I think my average speed was 75km/h (47mph). Otherwise TB I have to be honest my normal consumption which consists of half city and half highway is around 11-12 l/100km (23-25mpg) sometimes even less than 23mpg but it is good for my soul to achieve sometimes such a good milage as I did today. 2008 RRS TDV8 HSE, Java black, Alpaca,.....

My best average until now was few week ago coming from Madrid to Vigo 580 KM at not more than 120K/h. It was 9,3 L/100 km. Really fantastic!!!

I don't think I have ever seen better than 22/24mpg. I wonder why  Speed Limits! not where I live!
