Sounds like the air suspension moving/settling.......not been a problem that I know off. Unless you are parked on uneven ground whereupon the car will attempt to keep itself level by making adjustments to the air suspension. eg. mine settles when I turn it off momentarily to refuel or I'm stopped on a slope

Just get their insurance details, telephone number and as much information as possible. Seriously take a bit of time to read through this site - there are 3 or 4 issues such as faulty sensors, the suspension knocking, leaking drainage tubes etc but nothing too serious. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten 2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

i think mine does this.. i'm still waiting for my air suspension to be fixed. On several occasions I have been sat in the car, parked but with engine running, and it feels almost like a strong gust of wind hit the car - it shakes. I've also noticed on occasion when I get out of the car (engine off) and lock it, a 'hiss' from the air suspension, as if it is readjusting. |

"hiss" from the suspension is absolutely normal...

You got it, right! That's exactly how I felt. Maybe engine was running for overheat and suddenly slows down?? Not sure. I think that "hiss" sound is normal though. |
