United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Arctic Frost
Most Expensive Top Up.

I'm sure this has probably been discussed before, but what is the most you have paid for a tank of fuel?

I filled my motor up today, ready for the family holiday which starts on Friday morning. The local Tesco Superstore dropped it's price to 128.9pence per litre this morning so I thought I would make the most of it. . . I managed to clock up £99.07 Shocked Shocked

I was going for the magic £100 but couldn't squeeze anymore go-go juice into the neck of the tank.

Fortunately I had the receipt from SWMBO's last weekly shop which also entitled me to an extra 5p per litre discount. So the final bill was only £95.27.

A colleague at work clocked up more than £116 worth of diesel in his Series 2 Disco at the weekend. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

Shell V Power, £114....and boy is that juice good - could feel extra oomph on the motorway, slightly better consumption too...

Where does it stop though eh?? Will we all still be happy paying £200 a tank in months to come?? off to the states soon, and looking forward to $4 gallons.....found a car rental place in LA to rent me out an RRS SC too....

Got over £119 in the Touareg - 100 litre tank. The pain now is the £100 max at most pumps

....at the end of the day NickM as much as petrol is mostly taxation and it urks me to say so, it is still cheap IF you compare it to such things (as I do) like a bottle of coke - £1.35 for a half litre bottle today in the garage........criminal. Big Cry

If it comes to £200 a tank, so be it....I will just simply charge more for my time to my clients, therefore reducing the impact Thumbs Up L322 Big Daddy SUPERCHARGED 5.0 Autobiography - Here & Now!

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

A couple of months ago I filled up at Texaco and it cost £112. That was the most I ever filled and would last me just over a week, but it was costing £100+ for every fill. Now that my wife drives it, it costs her about £90 and lasts for over 3 weeks!

The BMW costs no more than £70 and lasts about 10 days. 2006 '56 RRS TDV6 HSE, Java Black, Alpaca Interior, PTI, Sidesteps, 22" Stormers wrapped in 285/35/22 Toyo Proxes, Java Framed SC Grille, Java/Zambezi Side Vents, Matt Black LR3 Door Handles, Matt Black Lower Tailgate Trim, Colour coded lower body trims, Semi Smoked Taillights, Chrome Mirrors and Fog Light Bezels, Reflex Exhaust Back, Full Pentagon AutoGlass Privacy, Tasmod Sills, Clear Side Repeaters, pics in gallery!
