Headrest removal

I have RTFM and tried to remove my headrests to fit my new airbag compliant seat covers.

I have pushed the little button thingies but I can't seem to remove the headrest, even when pushing the button and pulling the headrest. I am unable to remove either the fronts or rears.

Anyone have any ideas? Am I missing something?

There is another catch on the opposite side. It is indented and you need to press in with your fingernail/ knife/ screwdirver and pull headrest out at the same time. The one you are refering to lets the headrest up, the other (indented catch) gets the headrests out (stupid).

No! I didn't mean you stupid. Stupid design. Have spent many frustrating times removing headrests so i can put baby seats in rear. Pain in the Censored sometimes as they can be difficult to remove even when you know what you are doing.

Cheers anyway glad to help.
