So this is the 3rd time I’ve had my TDV8 in now for a really annoying whine when i set off... seems to be coming from the rear drivers side wheel!

First time they said they would give it all a clean up.. That worked for about 10 mins

Took it in again.. this time redid all the handbrake pots etc... Worked about 2 hours...

This time sat the technician in and said listen you get this sorted!!!

Been on the LandRover head Office and says they have had reports of 2007 models RRS all models squeak/whine noise caused by faulty brake pads...

Hopefully this will sort it out

All sorted... on closer inspection seems the sping on the caliper wasn't aligned or functioning correctly so this was causing the noise.
